Downloading any music yet? Well there's a cool site which
has been around since before iTunes and has lots of music to choose
from.
What I like about it is they give you a bunch of free downloads to try it out. If you want to check it out It's called eMusic and there's a link to it on the bottom of my homepage

Web Video is definately here!
We really started to see more people using video on the web this
year and with more computer users upgrading to cable or DSL from
modems (yes, there are still many people dialing up on their phone
lines...ouch!) We'll be seeing more and more video in the future.
Google, YouTube, and Rock & Roll Sax
Very recently Google bought YouTube so you know it's only gonna
grow.
I posted some links to a few sax performance videos on YouTube in the last newsletter if you missed it.
I'd like to add to this Rock & Roll Sax collection with a clip of a performance
I did with Colin James back in the early 90's... this was at the
spring break festivities in Ft Lauderdale, Florida. So check out
the Rock &
Roll Saxophonist video clip.

United By Music Tour
I'm in Holland as I'm writing this newsletter, touring with American
singer extraordinaire Candye Kane who put together a truly
all-star band who is performing for, and with special needs people
with varying degrees of disabilities.
The venues are packed every night and everyone is having a ball.
This is an idea that Joris Van Wijngaarden had about a year
ago and so far has been working great. He plans to not only keep
it going but to spread it around the world.
King Curtis
The latest article I've written is on one of my favorite all-time
saxophonists King
Curtis ... a great and talented performer who epitomized the
sound of the rock & roll saxophone and who's life was lost tragicaly
at a very young age
ciao for now
